When you put the mouse over your contact's image for a second, there will be a new window pops up. That is the contact's name card. You can click one of the tabs to view the contact details. When you move your mouse to other place, the name card window will closed automatically.

You can also go to the conversation window and left click the contact's portrait. Then please select "View Card".
